Our Journey
In 2014, Sigyá PH was founded as a volunteer-run creative advocacy program that coordinated community-based art and livelihood initiatives in marginalized areas. With historic events like the Kasanggayahan Jeepney Painting Festival in collaboration with the Provincial Government of Sorsogon, it transformed into a formal organizing service by 2019. In order to bring art into commonplace locations like classrooms, cafés, streets, and public markets, it has since expanded through partnerships with NGOs, educational institutions, artist collectives, and local government organizations.
Mission & Vision
Our mission empower communities and artists through multidisciplinary creative events that promote skill-building, cultural heritage, and inclusive development in Sorsogon and beyond. As a locally based creative ecosystem in the Bicol Region—where artists are encouraged, art is available, and culture is honored as a means of social change, education, and empowerment.
